Seizures
Delirium tremens
Fever
Narcolepsy
Withdrawal from benzodiazepines
Pharmaceutical drug (abuse or side effects)
Some of those things on the list are very very rare cases but I just wanted to cover everything (or almost everything).
Dementia and drug use cause paranoia. That is very common. Some of other things that can include delusions and/or hallucination can be:
Sleep disorders
Dementia with Lewy bodies
Alzheimer's disease,
Affective disorders
Migraines
Alcohol
Parkinson's disease
Charles Bonnet syndrome
Head injury
Grief (yes, sadly)
